My name is Klare Looney and I am the Founder/Owner of Lightway at The Ridge (The Ridge). I initially created Lightway at Sloans in 2007 after having my son and trying to find good care. In 2017, I expanded Lightway with the opening of the second location, The Ridge.

In late 2019, I sold Lightway at Sloans to an amazing couple, and parents of two young children, Todd and Michelle Belanger.

When initially visiting other daycare facilities, there was always something that each center was lacking regarding what I was wanting in a place for my child. I knew I could not leave my child at any place but the perfect place. After months of searching and not being satisfied, I decided to create something that had everything I (as a Mom) was looking for and more.

Being a working mother and knowing how difficult it can be, I wanted to ensure to create an inclusive Family for all children, parents, and teachers. I was concerned with my child being just another number in a large facility, and that is why I wanted to create a small loving center. I felt this would give the best opportunity to still have the benefits of interacting with other children, as well as being part of a close intimate family environment. The Ridge truly offers everything I wanted and more for my family and I hope it will offer that to you as well.

Hi, my name Rose. I am a native of Colorado, and I love spending time with family and my fiance, we are currently expecting our little bundle of joy and we are so excited. I love being outdoors, fall season is my favorite- because of all the leave changing colors! I have been working at the Ridge since 2017 and I absolutely love teaching and caring for children. I am very patient, outgoing, and loving. I am bilingual, my second language is Spanish, which I love sharing with the kiddos and their families. I love watching kids learn and grow, and I enjoy doing fun and creative art projects with them. I am thrilled to be a part of the wonderful family at The Ridge, and consider myself lucky to have found such a great place to work!

My name is Jenee and I am a Colorado Native born and raised! I have been a part of Lightway since 2013. I worked in the infant room for 5 years at Sloan's before transitioning into the role of enrollment and teacher support. I can't even begin to tell you what Lightway means to me, and it is my privilege to get to bring new families into this amazing community! I have been working with children for over 18 years. I love watching them develop and grow! As a parent myself having my son attend Lighway was one of the best decisions that I ever made as parent. I was adding him into not only a wonderful social emotional and educational environment, but most importantly he was getting a family! We hope to get to know you and that you join our amazing community filled with love, laughter, and the support that you need as a parent. It truly takes a village!

Hello, my name is Anavelie, but you can call me Ana! I love spending time with my boyfriend and having movie nights. I am a Colorado native; summertime is my absolute favorite! I have 4 siblings and a nephew that is 3yrs old that I love and adore. I enjoy working with kids all ages but I especially love caring for infants. Making them laugh and giggle is the best! I am patient, kind and loving! I am bilingual and I love to speak to the babies in Spanish. The babies enjoy when I sing songs in Spanish. Babies make me feel complete and loved. I love to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved so they can learn, trust, and grow. I am so happy to be a part of The Ridge family!

Hello! My name is Anay Jurado Carrasco. So happy to be working in the toddler room at Lightway at the Ridge. I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I enjoy spending time with my daughter and fiance, watching movies and taking walks. I also love working with kids, watching them play and learn all day. I knew very young I wanted to work with children. I come to work every day knowing the kiddos will be doing fun activities and gaining great skills that will help them in life. Being a small center has helped me connect with all the kiddos. Lightway had been a great place to build great relationships with the kiddos and parents. I am looking forward to having fun with your kiddos.

Hi, my name is Daisy. I Have been working as an Early Childhood Educator for 8 yrs. I'm bilingual my second language is Spanish; I absolutely love working with kids! I also have experience working with infants and the cuddling is my absolute favorite. I have my 14-year-old son, his name is Moses and I'm very blessed to have him! And we recently just had another baby named Bella, she is such a joy! I'm outgoing and kind spirited, I love to go hiking and go to dance classes like Zumba. I love spending time with family as it is very important to me. I'm very grateful to be a part of the Lightway family, I'm looking forward to meeting all the amazing families and working with your little ones!
